Jogi-karhu (hahmo)
Jogi-karhu (engl. Yogi Bear) on Hanna-Barberan tunnettu piirroshahmo. William Hannan, Joseph Barberan ja Ed Benedictin luoma hahmo teki ensiesiintymisensä vuonna 1958 Hakki-koiran ohjelmassa[1] ja saavutti suurta suosiota, minkä johdosta se sai vuonna 1961 oman ohjelmansa. Vuonna 1964 valmistui hahmon ensimmäinen nimikkoelokuva Jogi-karhu seikkailee. Vuosien mittaan Jogi-karhusta tehtiin lukuisia animaatiosarjoja ja elokuvia.

Jogi-karhusta tuotettiin ensimmäinen näytelmäelokuva vuonna 2010 Yogi Bear.
Hahmon tausta ja luonne
muokkaaJogi-karhun nimi pohjautuu amerikkalaisen baseball-pelaajan Yogi Berran nimeen. Muilta osin hahmo pohjautuu Art Carneyn esittämään hahmoon komediasarjassa The Honeymooners. Jogi-karhun seikkailut tapahtuvat kuvitteellisessa Jellystonen kansallispuistossa, joka on viittaus Yellowstonen kansallispuistoon. Hän useimmiten esiintyy sarkastisena ja sääntöjä rikkovana karhuna, joka pitää itseään tavallista karhua älykkäämpänä.[2] Tämän ohella Jogi yrittää varastaa kansallispuistossa lomaa viettävien turistien eväskoreja. Jopa Alistair MacLean sijoittaa kirjaansa Jääasema Zebra maininnan sukellusveneen sairasosaston seinällä olevasta kuvasta, jossa Jogi sahaa ahkerasti pois viimeistä sanaa kyltistä ”karhujen ruokinta täällä kielletty”.lähde? Jogin yleisimpänä esteenä suunnitelmilleen on puistonvartija Smith, sekä hänen apulaisensa Tom Anderson.[2]
