Lorenzo Canseco is a famous living legend among the Legends of 67.

Biography[]

Lorenzo Canseco fought in the Revolution of 1967 with his fellow Legends of 67 as they rallied around the communist professor Santos Espinosa to overthrow Gabriel Castillo, the president of Yara. Lorenzo was their poet and driver of their tank, Karlito.

During the revolution, he and Miguelina were lovers, while his other girlfriend betrayed him and was an enemy informer over 3 times, which infuriated Lobo to no end. As Lorenzo continued telling her everything, Lobo killed her and stopped trusting Lorenzo. Lobo was vicious and concluded that Santos Espinosa would only become an even worse leader than Gabriel Castillo, so Lobo plotted to assassinate Santos during the chaos when besieging Esperanza as well as killing Lorenzo and Lucky Mama. He trusted El Tigre with his secrets, so his conspiracy failed as El Tigre killed him instead, thus Lorenzo lives on. Like the rest of the Legends, he was disappointed and disillusioned as Lobo was proven right when Santos Espinosa turned out to be corrupt and incompetent, leaving the country in shambles.

In 21st century, after Antón Castillo took power and seeking revenge against those who overthrown his father Gabriel, while Miguelina set up traps for a deadly last stand, he chose to live a life of seclusion in Patriotas Peak with his fellow Legends, where Lucky Mama can provide medical treatments for his herpes. Throughout his life Lorenzo claims to have had a relationship with thousands of women and sired hundreds of children, with Miguelina being the very first. He never had a sincere relationship with any of his lover and their children.

When the new revolution began, Lorenzo was very hesitant to join but did so upon seeing the atrocities of Castillo regime and the death of a close friend. This put his life into perspective and tasks Dani Rojas with delivering a letter to an old flame who he never pursued a relationship with after the 67 revolution. Lorenzo then asks Dani to give apology letters to his numerous children since he now regrets never getting to know them. After performing these tasks he tells Dani that in order to prevent another person from doing what he has done to his lovers and children, they must destroy the patriarchy. Dani is confused and at a loss of words before the call is ended.

Lorenzo gets to ride in Karlito once again when El Tigre and Dani recover it. He mourns the loss of the old fist of the revolution and works with La Moral to bring down Sean McKay. Lorenzo later joins Dani with the rest of Libertad and the three factions in the Battle of Esperanza.

If Dani takes the boat to leave Yara and live in the US, it's unknown what would happen to Lorenzo and his vast estranged family and whether he (along with other Legends of 67) would attempt to rescue the Imprisoned tank soldier or not.
