Very cold

MICHIGAN CITY - With temperatures not expected above zero for the next couple of days, and double-digit below-zero readings for much of that time, officials are warning people about the danger of excessive cold. The coldest air will be over the area for a 48-hour period from mid-afternoon Tuesday to mid-afternoon Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

Well it was -32C or -26F but with the strong windchill it was -52C or -62F.

During very cold winter mornings, the fog rising from the yet to be frozen river, freezes on the branches above to create the effect that you see here.
