Bollywood has lost another brilliant and legendary artist. Pandit Ravi Shankar, a sitar player and brand ambassador of the Indian classical music world passed away at the age of 92 in San Diego on Tuesday. The talented sitar player did many collaborations with other talented musicians such as the Beatles, violinist Yehudi Menuhin and jazz saxophonist John Coltrane. Shankar Ji is also the father of American musician Nora Jones, her mother Sue Jones was a New York concert producer.
