1. coordinating conjunction used for juxtaposition: however, though

   Synonyms: а (a), ала (ala), ами (ami), но (no)

   Представя се за експерт, пък нищо не разбира.

   Predstavja se za ekspert, pǎk ništo ne razbira.

   He/She presents themselves as an expert, however they don't understand anything.

2. coordinating conjunction expressing contrast: but, yet

   Synonyms: a, обаче (obače)

   Уж обеща да присъства, пък на края не дойде.

   Už obešta da prisǎstva, pǎk na kraja ne dojde.

   He/She promised to attend, yet at the end they didn't come.

3. coordinating conjunction used for correlation: while, as

   Synonym: a

   Остави го да почине, пък ние ще довършим работата.

   Ostavi go da počine, pǎk nie šte dovǎršim rabotata.

   Leave him to rest, while we complete the job/task.

4. coordinating conjunction expressing addition and reinforcement: also, just as well, moreover, then

   Synonyms: и (i), па (pa)

   Тя е красива, пък и умна.

   Tja e krasiva, pǎk i umna.

   She is pretty and also (additionally/on top of that) smart.

   Първо помисли, пък после приказвай.

   аз пък не зна́ех ― az pǎk ne znáeh ― Well, I didn't know

2. emphatic participle for reinforcing demonstrative or interrogative pronouns: hell, damn, for all the world

   тоз пък ― toz pǎk ― him on the other hand
