Pending changes reviewer

A bit of confusion happened today when two pending changes reviewers' edits were themselves subjected to pending changes review. I was able to clear it up but it seems like it was luck. Had a few things been different, I'd have needed to be a pending changes reviewer to settle that matter. Add that to the fact that, when I come across pending edits in recent changes, I have to be a bit tricky to allow or reject them and it just seems like it would be easier to not have to do that. (I also think reviewing these edits might help me hone my ability to differentiate which pages need pending protection, which need semi-protection, etc. I'm always simultaneously suggesting both pending and semi at WP:RFPP and a lot of the time, the admin just protects one way or the other.) I meet all six requirements listed at Wikipedia:Reviewing pending changes#Becoming a reviewer. CityOfSilver 19:29, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I have been actively involved in the counter vandalism unit and have been patrolling recent changes for a while. I have stumbled upon many pending changes protected pages while checking recent changes and have made reverts of obvious vandalism and welcomed users who have made constructive edits. I could use this additional right to help accept or deny pending changes on electronic music-related articles. - TheMagnificentist 12:16, 23 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
