The Grasshopper ([Попрыгунья] Error: {{Lang-xx}}: text has italic markup (help)) is a 1955 Soviet film directed by Samson Samsonov based on a short story of the same title by Anton Chekhov.[1][2] It was nominated for a BAFTA award for Best Film in 1957.[3]
