Evelyn Adams was a lottery winner who won the New Jersey Lottery twice in 1985 and 1986 for a total of over $5.4 million. However, the lottery winners were soon lost to gambling, and large sums were given to friends and family. By 2001 the former millionaire was living in a trailer.[1][2][3]
