Margaret of Austria, Queen of Spain
Margaret of Austria (1584-1611), Queen of Spain and Portugal, was the daughter of the Emperor Charles II and Maria Anna of Bavaria, and the sister of the Emperor Ferdinand II.
She married Philip III of Spain on 18 April 1599.
She was the mother of:
- Anne of Austria (1601 - 1666), who became Queen of France;
- future king of Spain Philip IV
- Ferdinand, who became Governor of the Habsburg Netherlands.
