See Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Reviewers#Guidelines for granting for the granting guidelines. Guidelines include account age at least 90 days old, at least 500 edits to mainspace, demonstrated knowledge of page quality control (usually shown through participation in processes such as WP:AFD, WP:CSD, etc.), and no blocks or 3RR violations in the past 6 months. Applicants should show some evidence that they generally meet the guidelines, have a demonstrated need for the right, and that they have read and fully understood the tutorial at Wikipedia:New pages patrol.

I meet all the requirements and I do have experience because I frequently look at the WP:Special:NewPages and very rarely put them on the AFD if it does not meet the requirements.  Not done - While your AfD stats are numerically acceptable, your !votes have unconvincing rationales and didn't contribute to generating consensus. Hello! I have returned to editing Wikipedia after an 8-year hiatus. At the time, I enjoyed patrolling pages, reviewing edits, and sometimes moving pages for simple maintenance. Now, I have found out that in October 2016 Wikipedia created a specific user group "New Page Reviewer" and that I had to request permission to patrol new pages again.
