Oscar Manuel Sobalvarro Garcia is a former Resistance Commander. Farmer, salesman, and former Sandinista army soldier. Known as "Ruben." Born in El Venado, Jinotega, on December 23, 1960. Attended fourth grade. Entered the Resistance on March 20, 1980. Commander of the Salvador Perez Regional Command. His brother, Luis Armando, is the Regional Command's Executive Officer; another brother, Julio Cesar, is Commanding Officer of Task Force Martiza Zeledon. All three brothers are former Sandinista fighters.
