Electronic Earth is the upcoming debut album by English electronic musician and producer Labrinth, due to be released on 19 March 2012 by Syco. It was recorded over a number of years and largely self-produced by Labrinth, and will feature appearances from rapper Tinie Tempah and singer Emeli Sandé, potentially among others. The album's release was preceded by the release of three singles – "Let the Sun Shine" in September 2010, "Earthquake" in October 2011, and "Last Time" in March 2012.

Background

Labrinth released his debut solo single "Let the Sun Shine" on 27 September 2010, which reached a peak position of number three on the UK Singles Chart.[1] His second single "Earthquake", featuring long-term collaborator Tinie Tempah, was released over a year later on 23 October 2011, peaking a position higher at number two.[2] It was revealed in January 2012 that the third single from the album was "Last Time", and was to be released a week before the album.[3]

The title and release date of Electronic Earth were revealed on the musician's Twitter account in December 2011.[4] The official artwork was unveiled in early February 2012.[5]
