Jiangwan Airport is a former airport, located in the northeast part of Shanghai China. The airport was redeveloped and the land is currently part of the urban area of the city.
History
During World War II, the airport was known as Kiangwan (Jiangwan) Airfield and was used by the United States Army Air Forces Fourteenth Air Force as part of the China Defensive Campaign (1942-1945).
