"A Jain Painting on Cloth. India, Gujarat, 19th Century. The 24 Jain tirthankaras along with their cognizances arranged in rectangular niches forming the sacred syllable hrim which is repeated at center, one Jina depicted at top left corner seated on a crescent moon; surrounded by floral borders; framed. 15½ x 13 1/8 in. (39.4 x 33.3 cm.)."
