Hello to all!
I'm French-Canadian. I've been living in New Zealand since late 2002 with a nice Kiwi guy. I study ethnomusicology and I'm a bit of a Latinophile with a special interest in South America. I'm not too hardcore — I really just get on Wikipedia late at night when I can't sleep, or when I'm doing thesis avoidance — but I do enjoy contributing here and there.
Stuff I may get to sometime
- Sort out lambada, Kjakas, Music of Bolivia, etc.
- Merge doira and dayereh
- Sort out Mangue, CSNZ, Chico Science, Nação Zumbi, Mangue Bit, Mangue Beat, etc.
- Cayambe (canton seat) needs more material, categories
- Sort out kapa haka, poi, New Zealand music, Maori music, haka
- Work on Charrúa and add something about them to Uruguay
- Edit harp
- Check all samba instrument pages
- Add to pagode
- Yolngu
