Photo

I started this article without much access to relevant material, which is why I counted it as a stub at the time. For example it is a pity not to have a photo of Gourdie, so if anyone can access one that we might validly use, please act! JonRichfield (talk) 05:48, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I would think you should be able to get a photo from the archives of Kirkcaldy High School. I was taught by Tom Gourdie as I attended that school 1957 - 1963. I had when I went there a nice round hand form of handwriting ; regretably by being taught Italic by Tom Gourdie my handwriting adopted an almost bastardised, mixed form and thank God for typewriters in those days - even today my writing, unless I take loads of time and care, is a mess and at times illegible. Now thank God for wp. Having said that, I remember him as a great Art Teacher and he was well respected at the school.....it was a great school under the direction of Mr Adam [Head Master] and Miss Morris [Deputy Head. Thank you for the suggestion. I should have thought of that myself I suppose, but I now have sent them an email; wish me luck! :) JonRichfield (talk) 18:58, 17 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
