Pictures

@Psychologist Guy Do you know of any pictures of Martha Brotherton? I couldn't find any in Fifty Years of Food Reform, but I might have missed it. Throughthemind (talk) 11:32, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There is no photo sadly. I have checked on Google books, Google News, Hathitrust, newspapers and through old vegetarian literature. There are a lot of portraits of historical vegetarians taken between 1880 and 1900 but Brotherton died before this. Brotherton was born in the late 1700s, I believe it is unlikely a photo will ever turn up. The historians like James Gregory, Hilda Kean and Charles Forward never cited a photograph of her. Ah, that's a shame. Thank you for checking Throughthemind (talk) 19:07, 24 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
