Puviarasu Muthusamy or Puvi (Tamil: புவி அரசு முத்துசாமி) is a Tamil television actor, dancer and national level athlete ^[1]. He made his debut in maanada mayilada season 7 in 2012 and has since starred in reality shows, films, short films, Television series. He is best known for playing the Supporting role in Serials EMI (2016), Lakshmi Vanthachu (2017) and Azhagiya Tamil Magal (2017) where he is playing the lead role for the first time in Television series.

Puviarasu Mthusamy was born in coimbatore. He has done M.E (structural) bridge design engineer in Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology in Coimbatore in 2011. he was the goal keeper of hockey team in Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology. He is national level athlete also.

He made his debut in the Tamil Television Dance reality show Maanada Mayilada season 7 in Kalaignar TV along with Anusha and Hosted by Sanjeev and Keerthi in 2012. In the maanada mayilada season 7 they were 2nd Runners up ^[2].

In 2013 he participated in Telugu dance show style. In the finale of this show he broke his leg in 2nd performance then he discontinue from finale. After he started to acting in television serial Keladi Kanmani (2015) in Sun TV. Puvi done supporting role in Thamarai (2015) serial along with Neelima Rani in Sun TV. After he has appeared in some well known Tamil serials such as EMI (2016) , Vaani Rani (2016)in Sun TV and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa (2016) in Vijay TV. He came to film industry by Aakki (hockey) movie along with Anu Hassan And mahendran.

In 2017, he has done Negative role in Lakshmi Vanthachu (2017) along with Haripriya vighneshkumar, Vani bhojan in Zee Tamil. He participated the reality risky dance show Dancing Khilladies along with Preetha Suresh, Hosted by Deepak Dinkar and the Dancing Khilladies they were winners ^[3]. The same year, starred in his first leading role in Zee Tamil Romance and Family serial Azhagiya Tamil Magal^[4] serial along with Sheela Rajkumar ^[5] He participated in Zee Dance League for Azhagiya Tamil Magal. He currently participating in Dance Jodi Dance (season 2) along with Pavithra Datta.
