Boone Jenner (born June 15, 1993) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing with the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL). Jenner was selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2nd round (37th overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

Playing Career

Juniors

Jenner played four seasons (2009–2013) of major junior hockey with the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) where he scored 111 goals and 135 assists for 246 points, while earning 265 penalty minutes, in 227 games played.

Professional

On March 28, 2012, the Columbus Blue Jackets signed Jenner to a three-year entry-level contract.[1] Jenner scored his first and second NHL goals on October 17, 2013 against Carey Price of the Montreal Canadiens.

Oldest brother Leo played five seasons with OHL's Plymouth Whalers before attending Acadia University where he won an AUS Championship with the Acadia Axemen, graduating with a 3.95 GPA

Older brother Cole played four seasons of JR B Hockey capping off his Junior career with a GOJHL Championship with the St Thomas Stars, after scoring the winning goal in overtime of game 7 to secure the Championship

Cousin Marcus Carroll played five seasons with Owen Sound Attack Cousin Michael Carroll played Senior A Lacrosse with Greengaels Cousin Matthew Carroll played Junior A Lacrosse with Whitby and NLL with Toronto Rock, he was recently named Head Coach for Pickering Panthers of the OPJHL
