Susan RoAne is an American author and speaker.[2] She is known for her business networking self-help books.[3][4] RoAne is the author of several books including How To Work a Room,[5][6] which reached number one on Book-of-the-Month Club's list of best-selling nonfiction books.[1]
Background
RoAne was born in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from Mather High School. She has a Master's Degree from San Francisco State University and a bachelor's from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.[1] A former teacher, she has spoken at the University of Texas School of Law[7] and an NYU alumni event.[8]
She has been published in Success,[9] Harper's,[10] and Inc. magazine,[11] along with being quoted in The Wall Street Journal,[12] Canada's Globe and Mail,[13] Chicago Tribune,[14] New York Times,[15] Entrepreneur,[16] and Cosmo.[17] She has also been heard on radio programs including NPR affiliates.[18][19]
