I would like to update the page of Laurinda Spear, the architect. I have images of her work which support the argument that her work is "romantic and playful, but also bold and dramatic." Being that the page is about an architect, there should at least be one image of her work on her wikipedia page. Her work is now more relevant now since fellow female architect, Denise Scott Brown, has won the Pritzker Prize for Architecture. Laurinda Spear herself, is an architect of note, who achieved global fame in architecture during a time when female architects were looked down upon in the profession. She still practices with her partner and husband, Bernardo Fort-Brescia. Raymondafort (talk) 02:12, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Not done Laurinda Hope Spear is a living people, therefore every of her work is copyrighted. Armbrust The Homunculus 06:41, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! I need confirmation to be able to upload a photo for a page an article I'm about to publish on Kevin Borland's building, "Fitzgerald House". I've obtained the rights from the source. Roxesa (talk) 07:53, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Not done The copyright-holder needs to release the photos as per the image use policy. For how to do that see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials and Wikipedia:Declaration of consent for all enquiries. Armbrust The Homunculus 08:21, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Please confirm my account. I would like to create an article with pictures on my company profile to wikipedia. Thanks Raymondkoh1234 (talk) 08:02, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, we need to change the name of this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ort_Institute from The ORT Institute to Zarem/Golde ORT Technical Institute. We would like to change the logo as well and make some changes in the right column of the page. Thank you ZG ORT (talk) 18:02, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: For requesting to rename the article go to Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests and to request the upload the logo go to Wikipedia:Files for upload, this way you won't need advanced permissions. You don't need confirmed permission to edit the The_Ort_Institute articles, as it isn't semi-protected. Armbrust The Homunculus 19:15, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Already done - You are already autoconfirmed Armbrust The Homunculus 05:29, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I am Sam Dagher and would like to submit an entry about myself and work Samdagher (talk) 18:59, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
[reformatting, taken from headline] Add new entry about Sam Dagher, a Middle East Correspondent for the Wall Street Journal [[stwalkerster|talk] 19:03, 18 April 2013 (UTC)][reply]
Not done You don't need confirmed permission to create articles. However, per WP:Autobiography, you should submit the article through WP:AFC, instead creating directly in the article namespace. You should also read the Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. Armbrust The Homunculus 19:18, 18 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have some images that I would like to upload to Wikipedia, that I have been given copyrights to, to help enhance my Wikipedia page. I also want to have a confirmed account so that I can add to semi-protected pages, and make them better. I have no plans to edit any semi-protected pages immediately, and right now I am more asking to be confirmed so that I can upload the images I have to Wikipedia. Hi I'm Gater and I'd like to improve Wikipedia, I see lots of wrong pages with poor grammar or written in the wrong voice but they're edit locked. I wish to be able to edit programming pages that are incorrect too, because I am a software developer. Thanks in advance. Gater1000 (talk) 03:48, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Not done - Hi, and thank you for creating an account to edit Wikipedia. Although I fully understand your desire to dive right in, many of our articles are semi-protected because they are controversial, prone to vandalism, or other reasons. As a new editor with few edits, it might be wise to discuss your edits on the article talkpage in order to gain consensus for your edits, and then use {{Edit semi-protected}} to request the edit be performed. I only recommend this until you're used to the challenges of reliable sources, the biographies of living persons policy, and other similar policies. The good news is that fewer than 5% of Wikipedia articles are protected; this means that 95% of the articles can use your help right now! Armbrust The Homunculus 05:31, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

As part of a University project, I have an non-controversial amendment-suggestion to the "Art"-section of the article on the Israeli West Bank barrier. As both the article itself, as well as the talk page are semi-protected, I respectfully request permission to make this unproblematic change. Thank you and best regards. Teresaul (talk) 18:09, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have asked the admin who protected the page if they would lift the talk page protection so you could at least propose your edit there. Beeblebrox (talk) 18:31, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The talk page is now unprotected and you can request that the edit be made using {{editsemiprotected}}. Beeblebrox (talk) 19:29, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Reason for requesting confirmed rights CookCFBPR (talk) 19:36, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to request that my account be confirmed, I'd like to create a page for my employer.

Not done. You don't need to be confirmed to create new pages in most cases. While i can't say for sure, I am also guessing that your username may violate our policy on usernames if it represents this employer. Beeblebrox (talk) 19:48, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I am the GIS Coordinator Hardin County, Ohio. I've been asked to help update the Hardin County page and other relevant articles. I am requesting confirmation in order to upload relevant photos to the page. I've already read and am prepared to meet the requirements. Thank you. Giscoord (talk) 20:00, 19 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
