Article name

Before performing any further controversial cut & paste moves of this article, kindly note that the official DoD report refers to this accident by the location "Cumberland", not "Savaged Mountain". Furthermore, a search of Google books reveals the following hits on the two terms:

On the other hand, a Google Web search currently has 28.400 hist for Savage Mountain B-52 crash and only 21.000 for Cumberland B-52 crash. WideBlueSky (talk) 11:46, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
And how many of those hits are mirrors of this article? Socrates2008 (Talk) 13:41, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome to count them, but I doubt it would change anything because the "mirror argument" goes both ways - specifically since the location "Cumberland" is also mentioned in this article and it pops up on top of the Google list either way.
BTW: I personally don't care one way or the other. I just stumbled over the crash (and the discussion without knowing it had such a long history) because I was working on the 1963 Elephant Mountain B-52 crash which is similiar.
My personal opinion: since the article is already saved as "Savage Mountain" since quite some time now, I would simply keep it there. BOTH options have good pros and cons but in the end the article pops up on top no matter what the search term actually is (even so there are currently better articles online about this accident). Our time would be spent better by improving the article and not by arguing about the name. - WideBlueSky (talk) 21:42, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
