Literary and cultural references
I suggest that the play "Wappin’ Wharf - A Frightful Comedy of Pirates" By CHARLES S. BROOKS be included in the list of literary references that Wapping is connected to. http://www.gutenberg.org/files/24914/24914-h/24914-h.htm (142.150.17.243 (talk) 23:21, 16 March 2009 (UTC))
Notable People
The statement that Cher lived in Wapping is untrue. Her management maintained a property there for publicity purposes, but at the time she was actually living in a hotel in Mayfair. I can't cite concrete resources, unfortunately, but the godmother of her child was quite adamant about it at the time.
Oh, and I'm led to believe that Graham Norton doesn't live here any more - which is good, because I was annoyed at the way he used to stare in when walking his dogs past my house. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikiwonko (talk • contribs) 01:11, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
