Bharat Ratna Dr B.R. Ambedkar Vishwavidyalaya, Delhi (Ambedkar University, Delhi or AUD for short) was established by the Government of the NCT of Delhi through an Act of Legislature. The university began functioning in August 2008.

AUD is at present located temporarily in the Integrated Institute of Technology campus, Dwarka in Delhi. It is accessible by the red line of Delhi Metro.

Future campus

The university is planning to move into its permanent campus or campuses by 2013. The future campus is planned to be energy-efficient, ecologically-frugal and disabled-friendly. The campus will include academic, residential, recreational and social facilities for students and staff.
