- Divine action This has been a serious topic for several decades, I believe. See the next to last question/comment from the interviewer where John Polkinghorne[1] says "The most discussed topic [in the science/theology debate] at the moment is divine action, and that is a sign that the encounter between science and theology is becoming closer. I have the 2002 Cambridge University Press Divine Action and Modern Science by Nicholas Suanders[2] and I can many other sources using a find tag: [Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL. - Philosophy in fiction - In modern days anyone uses the word "philosophy" without proper apprehension of its meaning and a caricature of it abounds in fiction, has this been this way all along? Aristophanes makes a satire against Socrates that many antiplatonists favour (The Clouds), Robert Burton (8 February 1577 – 25 January 1640) wrote a satirical comedy, Philosophaster, about a person that pretends to be a philosopher, in modern times this word has become more usual in use and is applied to such pretenders, in modern fiction, in TV in particular, philosophers are at best philosophasters rather than otherwise, with few exceptions I cannot think of. Bearing this in mind, and adding the philosophical drive of stories such as Matrix, The Truman Show and the Butterfly Effect which somewhat cross over into sci-fi, there's a lot of substance to make this article... But no such article. I merely requested as I can't round up more data than this... But I know there is a lot...Undead Herle King (talk) 17:44, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
