Regenerative medicine

Regenerative medicine refers to research into treatments that restore adult body parts. There are three strategies for future treatments: the injection of stem cells or progenitor cells; the induction of regeneration by introduced substances; and the transplantion of in vitro grown organs and tissues.[1][2]
