I Love New York is a reality television series on VH1. It features Tiffany Pollard (better known as "New York") in a quest to find her true love. The series is a spin off of another relationship competition series, Flavor of Love, which featured Pollard as a finalist in two consecutive seasons. Season 2's final episode was leaked to the internet a week before the TV air date.[citation needed] After Tango (Patrick S. Hunter), the winner of the show's first season, failed to deliver as New York's soul mate, the second season aired, revealing Tailor Made (George Weisgerber) as New York's chosen flame. Somehow during the taping of her latest show New York Goes To Hollywood, Weisgerber and Pollard became no longer together.

In addition to Pollard, a host of other individuals from Flavor of Love, especially "Sister" Patterson,Pollard's mother, appear on the show to help choose the right man for her. Mauricio Sanchez played New York's assistant, "Chamo," but only for the first season. The production of a second season of I Love New York was first announced during a commercial break for the April 29, 2007, episode of Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School. After the show was wrapped up, the house was used for another VH1 show, Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School.

On March 6, 2008, The Futon Critic reported that New York would star in New York Goes To Hollywood. The show will consist of ten 30 minute episodes.[1]

On May 8, 2008, it was reported that two of the rejected bachelors from I Love New York would have a show together that closely follows the format of Flavor of Love.[2] It turns out that the two bachelors are brothers Kamal (Chance) and Ahmad (Real) Givens. Their show Real Chance of Love premiered on October 20, 2008.

Spinoffs

A number of contestants from Flavor of Love, Rock of Love, and I Love New York are brought together in a mansion in Mexico to compete in a co-ed battle of mental and physical challenges to win $250,000. I Love Money started filming in February 2008 and ended in March 2008, and premiered on July 6, 2008.

The show began on August 4, 2008, and consists of ten 30-minute episodes. The show will star New York as she goes throughout Hollywood trying to find an acting job. To focus on her new mission, New York has to put her last conquest, Tailor Made, on the backburner as she tries to take on Tinseltown. At the end of the series, Pollard decided to keep auditioning for film work, stating she would continue to document her career search in "New York Goes to Hollywood: Part 2"; if her film career doesn't pan out, she has mentioned a possible return to reality-television dating with an "I Love New York 3."

Bachelor brothers Real and Chance may not have been lucky in love on “I Love New York” but now they will both get a second chance with “Real Chance of Love” premiering October 20 at 9:00 PM ET/PT. The tables have turned for these horse-breeding, music-producing entertainer brothers known as the “Stallionaires.” Now, Real and Chance are the ones in control and this time it’ll be a gamble for 17 young ladies who will move into their ranch house to fight for their hearts.
