Freshwater And Marine Aquarium (FAMA) magazine, formerly published by R/C Modeler and now published by BowTie Inc., located in Irvine, California, is a consumer magazine specializing in aquarium fishkeeping and the aquarium hobby in general.

FAMA was first published in January 1978, and continued publication as a monthly consumer title under R/C Modeler until March 2005, when it was sold to BowTie Inc. Due to publication difficulties, FAMA’s production schedule was interrupted until June 2005, when it resumed normal monthly publication under BowTie Inc.

FAMA covers all aspects of the aquarium hobby, from basic freshwater setups to advanced marine aquarium information. Covered topics include freshwater husbandry, planted tank setup and maintenance, marine tank setup and maintenance, reefkeeping, fish health, feeding information, breeding information, water chemistry information and a number of other topics.

Freshwater And Marine Aquarium has featured a number of contributors over the years, including several well-recognized hobbyist authors and innovators, including Julian Sprung, Robert Fenner, Paul Speice and Bob Goemans, among many others.
