The R/V Laurel M. Gould is part of the United States Antarctic Programs' fleet of vessels for servicing the Antarctic program. The LMG chiefly shuttles between Punta Arenas, Chile, and Palmer Station, Antarctica. The LMG began operation in the late 1990s, under the management of Edison Chouest.
