Ann Helene Lippert (born July 14, 1963), in Evanston, Illinois is a comedian and actress. She is best known for her work as the Director and Co-Creator of audience interactive comedy "Joni And Gina’s Wedding!" a gay version of the popular audience interactive weddings like “Tony n' Tina's Wedding”.


She co-created the show with Marianne Basford and Hilarity Ensues Productions in 2002.

She attended Wheeling High School in Wheeling IL and later took acting classes at the Piven Theatre Workshop in Evanston IL where she studied for years with her biggest influence director/ teacher Shira Piven. She was raised in a very positive family environment with 5 sisters and 1 brother.

Lippert is the daughter of an Irish Catholic mother and Chicago born German father who is a semi-professional Bowler. In her comedy, she parodies growing up in a family just like the Brady Bunch, her dads bowling obsession and relationships. As an actress she has had parts in television shows like “Close To Home”, “It's A Miracle”, “LA 7” and others.

Ann is currently living in North Hollywood California hoping to expand her theatre production of “Joni And Gina’s Wedding!”
