Pusher III, For I am the Angel of Death is a 2005 action/drama movie by the Danish director Nicolas Winding Refn made as a sequel to the original blockbuster Pusher. The movie was released in August 2005.

Synopsis

Milo (Zlatko Buric), the drug lord from the first two films, is now the victim of a drug addiction, and has to attend daily narcotics anonymous meetings, to stay clean.

It's his daughter Milena's (Marinela Dekic) birthday, and Milo has to cook for 50 people. On top of his bussy schedule, the heroin he was supposed to have gotten in, has turned out to be ecstasy. Hoping for an explanation, Milo seeks out his supplier, the Albanian crimelord Luan (Kujtim Loki). Realizing that he has to make money soon, Milo agrees to sell the ecstasy and return with the money to the Albanian mafia.

While cooking dinner for his daughter's birthday, Milo gives his dealer "Little" Mohammed (Ilyas Agac), better known as "The King of Copenhagen", the ecstasy, who promises to return within an hour. With all his goons sick from food poisoning, Milo has no choice but to trust him. Mohammed, however, disappears.

Milo, who's getting pressured, finds out that his daughter's boyfriend, Mike (Levino Jensen), is in fact a small-time drug dealer, buying dope from other suppliers. Furious, Milo convinces Mike to buy dope from him, at a standard price. Milena interferes, wanting the dope much cheaper, which Milo reluctantly accepts.

With Mohammed gone, Milo now has to explain the situation to Luan, who either wants his money or his ecstasy back. Milo agrees to help the Albanian mafia, but unbeknownst to him, this also involves human trafficking, something that Milo has a hard time to stomach.

During his daughter's birthday, Milo contacts a corrupt cop, whom he pays to bring back Little Mohammed. The birthday is very hectic, and to relieve himself from some of the pressure, Milo decides to smoke some heroin, falling back into his drug addiction.

While an Albanian crook, Rexho (Ramadan Huseini) helps a polish pimp to sell a young girl, the girl unsuccessfully attempts to flee, which results in the pimp beating her severely. Milo, who can no longer hold back his wrath, explodes in a rage and murders both the pimp and Rexho. Shortly after, the corrupt cop contacs Milo and brings back Little Mohammed, who is tied up in the police car's trunk, with a bag over his head.

Having no friends left, Milo decides to seek help from his old friend and ex-henchman, Radovan (Slavko Labovic). Radovan agrees to aid Milo one last time, helping him in halal butchering the bodies, cutting them to pieces and burning them.

The movie ends openly, with Milo returning to his idyllic home in the morning, having a cigarette, while looking into his empty swimming pool.
