Carlos Vaca (Querétaro, November 4, 2002 - March 28, 2023), was a Mexican athlete specializing in archery.
Biography
He was born in the city of Santiago de Querétaro, in the state of the same name. Ever since he was a child, he was passionate about the sport of archery, he later went on to enter an Olympic training center in the Mexican capital. It should be noted that he was considered to be one of the great promises of Olympic Sport in his discipline,[1] he was even promised to be one of the greatest archery talents of Mexico and the entire world.[2]
Death
He died of sucide on March 28 of 2023, as comfirmed by the authorities. It's possible his sucide was due to his dad not accepting his homosexuality, although this has not yet been comfirmed by authorities. .[3] His death was felt by the entire sports family in Mexico and other places around the world.[4]
