Inconsistency in record

[edit]

The article claims that Curtis has the 4th most passing yards in Motor City Bowl history. This is simply not true because according to ESPN there are only 3 other quarterbacks who have thrown for more yards in a bowl game...none of those games were the Motor City bowl. I changed it to read 4th most yards in a bowl game, and changed the yardage from 543 to 546 (according to this article http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/recap?gameId=273602117) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.211.207.87 (talk) 01:23, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article claims that Curtis was a High School All-American. So far I have been unable to confirm this as a fact. The reference I have found names him as an All-State Quarterback in Indiana.. This reference is found in the Vincennes Sun Commercial in a article by: Author: GREGG SIMS, sports writer Publish Date: August 5, 2004 Word Count: 579 Document ID: 10CBA8858D1BE8F4

"Curtis Painter has plenty to consider as he prepares for a college football career at Purdue this fall.

The Class 4A All-State quarterback from Lincoln will begin two-a-day workouts next week with his new Boilermaker teammates. He leaves for West Lafayette this Sunday." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.189.36.22 (talk) 17:25, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

wtf?

[edit]

why are you retards editing this as though it's a live newsfeed during games? "Painter stepped in in Week 3 vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers for an injured Kerry Collins. In that game he went 5 for 10 with 60 yards and a fumble." thanks...that was accurate for maybe 5 minutes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Xwinterbornx (talkcontribs) 03:25, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

good thought ruined by the use of the words 'wtf' and 'retards'. This is not 4chan. Logical fact (talk) 15:57, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
