ESEAP Conference 2018

Hello Timmy78722,

I’m Irvin from PhilWiki Community, a member of the Communication Committee of the ESEAP Conference. ESEAP Conference 2018 is a regional conference for Wikimedia communities throughout the ESEAP region: ESEAP stands for East, Southeast Asia, and Pacific. Taking place in Bali, Indonesia on 5–6 May 2018, this is the first regional conference for these Wikimedia communities.

East and Southeast Asia and the Pacific are the most under-represented regions within the Wikimedia community. There is a significant number of Wikimedia contributors in our regions, yet we continue to struggle in establishing a well-managed community. This conference will bring participants from various ESEAP communities together in order to better understand the issues and to look for solutions. It also aims to connect people of the Wikimedia movement within ESEAP regions, to share ideas, and to build regional collaborations that are impossible to achieve through online communication.

We’ve got a lot of participation from several countries, but we’re lacking from your country. As we need more participants from your country, we believe that your contribution and participation would be a valuable asset to the success of this event. If you would like to participate in the conference, please do fill the form as soon as possible (by April 5, 2018) and we’ll inform you if you get selected for the conference.

Thank you and we hope to see you soon. --Filipinayzd 01:54, 31 March 2018 (UTC)

Hello there. This is an invitation to join the 50,000 Destubbing Challenge Focus of the Week. £250 (c. $310) is being given away in May, June and July with £20 worth of prizes to give away every week for most articles destubbed. Each week there is a different region of focus, including one week dedicated to South-South East Asia, though half the prize will still be rewarded for articles on any subject. There's a potential £120 to be won in total for destubbing on any subject or region of your choice. Sign up if you want to contribute at least one of the weeks or support the idea! † Encyclopædius 11:41, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. I can just improve the sources of the article. On the other hand, this entertainer is gathering more attention in the Spanish speaking entertainment business, hence I'm writing this article.

Hi (talk), Thanks for the feedback! I have changed the primary sources into secondary ones. If there are any more improvement to be made, please don't hesitate and tell me. It has been a long time since I wrote articles in Wikipedia, so I might forget some of the policies. Thank You! Timmy78722 (talk) 03:09, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies the demands of r/l has meant haven't been able to spare much time to respond to you. My determination on the draft was based on the reliability of the sources provided at the time of assessment. I haven't had the time to go through the updated sources. My advice is to try and focus in on reliable sources and avoid ones that don't have independent editorial oversight, also avoid using primary sources, such as interviews with the individual. In respect to what are notable films, televisions shows etc they tend to be those which have an existing article and satisfy WP:NFILM / WP:NTELEVISION. Ne to establish that she had a major role in those productions not simply a supporting role or guest appearance. I am happy to have a look at it again when I have the time. Once again sorry for the delay in responding. Dan arndt (talk) 05:31, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank You! I will provide the necessary sources that doesn't have independent editorial oversight, interviews, and primary sources. Fortunately, after reading the guidelines of WP:NFILM / WP:NTELEVISION, there are existing articles that can satisfy the guidelines; since the show Through My Window (film) is trending in Netflix as the third most popular foreign films. However, there are more credible and reliable source in Spanish (i.e Vogue España), I don't know if that is going to affect the reliability and credibility of the article, since it is another language apart from English, apart from that I don't think there is a problem. Thanks for the advice and assessment of the article! Thanks!Timmy78722 (talk) 07:13, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
