==History==
Route 383 commenced operating on 25 July 1998 between [[Potters Bar railway station|Potters Bar]] and [[New Barnet railway station|New Barnet]] stations replacing part of [[London Buses route 326|route 326]]. It was operated by [[Metroline]]'s [[Metroline#Potters Bar (PB)|Potters Bar garage]] with [[Marshall Bus|Marshall]] bodied [[Dennis Dart]]s.

On 15 May 1999, it was extended at its northern end from Potters station to Potters Bar garage and at its southern end to [[Woodside Park tube station|Woodside Park station]] via [[Oakleigh Park]].

London Buses route 383 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Barnet and Woodside Park, it is operated by Metroline.

History

Route 383 commenced operating on 25 July 1998 between Potters Bar and New Barnet stations replacing part of route 326. It was operated by Metroline's Potters Bar garage with Marshall bodied Dennis Darts.

On 15 May 1999, it was extended at its northern end from Potters station to Potters Bar garage and at its southern end to Woodside Park station via Oakleigh Park.

Upon being re-tendered, it passed to Sullivan Buses' South Mimms garage on 26 July 2003 being withdrawn between Potters Bar and Barnet on the same date.[1] When next tendered, it returned to Metroline, Potters Bar on 26 July 2008.[2]
