This page and its subpages contain suggestions and tools to help editors contribute to Maryland-related articles. It is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page. You may also wish to add your name to #Participants. This project serves as a hub for all other projects related to Maryland, see the child projects below for more detailed information on contributing to Maryland-related articles.
For more information on WikiProjects, please see Wikipedia:WikiProject and Wikipedia:WikiProject/Best practices.
Scope

Ongoing tasks
This section is for ongoing tasks
- John Thomas Scharf, Historian and Colonel - do help Victuallers (talk) 17:03, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
- Make sure the talk pages of all relevant articles include {{WikiProject Maryland}}, and are assessed.
Adopt an article
Similar to the Collaboration of the week, but on a smaller scale, you might want to "adopt" an article. This would involve doing the research, writing, and picture-taking (if possible) for either a non-existent article or a stub. Of course, everyone else can still edit an adopted article, and you can work on other things too, but the idea is to find a focus for a while, to try and build up the number of quality articles the Project has produced.
- J. Joseph Curran adopted by Marylandstater (talk) 16:20, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- Mount Savage, Maryland adopted by WildwoseWildwose.
- Woodberry, Baltimore adopted by Marylandstater 14:48, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
