Hammond High School is a public secondary school located in Columbia, Maryland near the Kings Contrivance Village Center. It is south of Maryland Route 32, east of U.S. 29, and west of I-95.
Established in 1976, the school is located in Howard County and is part of the Howard County Public School System. Its maximum capacity is 1,332 students. The school's principal is Mr. Sterlind S. Burke, newly appointed for the 2006–2007 academic year. Hammond was built at the same time and with the same plan as Centennial High.
