Greetings! Just wanted to day "nice work!" on The Mansion of Happiness. I tidied up one or two things, and think that you should nominate this article for Good article status. I think it's there (or pretty close) to that standard now. Having seen what you did for this article, I had a quick look at some of your other work, such as Cootie and Play-doh and think that you might want to consider nominating those articles for GA status as well. Thanks much for the Barnstar for Pal (dog actor)! That really wasn't necessary, but I do very much appreciate it. Frankly, I really enjoyed reviewing Pal (dog actor) and found it pretty rewarding to get it to GA status. I also meant to tell you that, as you yourself pointed out, the Lassie article could use some work, and I think some time down the road you should consider tackling that one yourself. Hi, I've seen all the good work you've done on horror comics and romance comics, so I thought it worth dropping you a note pointing out we are discussing organising putting a bit more focus on all the comics genre articles to bring them up to standard: WT:CMC#Science fiction comics / graphic novels.

We have an improvement driving rolling along and one of the things I'd like to do is get all the eras of comics articles up to spec (we just got Silver Age of Comic Books to GA) as they are good articles for people to get an overview of the field and so should be central to the Project (and ultimately we have an eye on Wikipedia 1.0). Clearly comics genres are another useful overview of the field for people and information/sources that come up for history of comics could also be useful for the history of genres. As you've put in a lot of work on both genre and history of the genres your input would be much appreciated.

I ask that the block on this account be lifted. I accept complete responsibility for the multiple accounts. Some accounts were created to manage material more easily, for example, the Buttermilk1950 account was created to keep the 'rodeo' articles separate from other articles. None of the accounts were created with malicious intent, to engage in vandalism, or to deliberately create disruption although, as we have seen, disruption did occur. I am truly sorry. This account has won several GAs and I think Wikipedia has been enhanced in some small way. I should like to continue crafting articles to achieve GA status. I have learned a lesson. Admins considering an unblock should be aware of these warnings: [1] and [2], and perhaps others farther back (I did not exhaustively search but there's a long term pattern here). I'm perhaps too close to the situation, since it was my wife that was (in my view) rather viciously and repeatedly attacked, but I'd be disinclined to unblock for a while, or at least until some reason to believe no more disruption would occur. Given the account's history (see the AN/I thread: [3] (history version) and follow some of the diffs to see long term corrosive behaviour going back to this accounts very start) more than just an assurance is needed, in my view. • Thank you, Lar for joioning in. I assure you I have learned a lesson about cooperative behavior at Wikipedia, about collegiality, and that no further incidents of a disruptive nature shall occur. I would like to point out that much of my time at Wikipedia has been of a productive, positive, and constructive nature in creating or bringing articles to GA. I hope that will be weighed in the balance. I am not perfect and I have made some grievous errors. I have learned from those errors. My only interest in Wikipedia is to produce GA articles. I am proud of my GA list, and am interested in lengthening it. I vow to continue good work, to avoid any disruptive behavior, and to work with an eye on doing my best. I am confined to a wheelchair, not in the best of health, and hope that when the time comes my obituary will read, (among other things), that I "enjoyed writing articles for the online encyclopedia Wikipeida". • Thank you Baseball Bugs for joining this discussion. As I mentioned I have learned a valuable lesson about behavior at Wikipedia. I am truly repentant. Won't you give me a second chance? While multiple accounts are viewed as "dishonest" at Wikipedia, there was no "dishonest" intent on my part in creatlng multiple accounts. No accounts were created to vandalize Wikipeida, or to sway voting or consensus, or to engage in other mischief. As I stated, they were created to keep certain themed articles separate from others in order to manage my work easily and efficiently. I have contributed positively, constructively, and productively at Wikipedia in the past many months (especially after winning my first GA), and only wish to continute doing so.   • I would point out that having more than one account is not in itself, per policy, viewed as "dishonest"; see User:Sackful of swallows, for example. However your behaviour, both as Buttermilk1950 and as ItsLassieTime is concerning. Your use of alternate accounts was not flagged in any way by you and was, in fact being specifically used dishonestly to cause disruption on the AN/I thread started by "Buttermilk1950". You also appeared to be using the Buttermilk account as an "evil twin" account, making reasonable edits as one editor (ILT) and unreasonable POV edits with another (BM). As Baseball Bugs says, your tendency to write stories undermines your credibility. It's unfortunate, with what appears to be a good editing record as ItsLassieTime up until the shenanigans on AI/V, but given those shenanigans I honestly can't believe that your attitude has changed effectively overnight. I also note that your IP address was blocked last year for a period of 6 months for sockpuppetry. I would not object to another admin reviewing the case differently and unblocking, however, so I'm leaving the unblock template in place Struck out; another admin has declined the unblock. • I'm sorry you feel that way, Mr. Walton. I am truly repentant, have learned a lesson, and have no intention of creating multiple accounts in the future. This experience has taught me a painful lesson. I had no idea how much I depended on Wikipedia to bring me happiness during the day until the Wiki experience was taken away from me. The multiple accounts were not created to vandalize, create mayhem, create nonsense articles, sway consensus or voting, or engage in other mischief. They were created to keep particular articles separate from others. I have abused those accounts and now ask you to restore ItsLassieTime, the only account I want to use in the future. I ask you to reconsider. My recent behavior has been reprehensible and I regret it. I apologize to you and the entire Wiki community. I ask to be healed and restored to the Wikipedia community.
