Sesshu Foster is the author of Atomik Aztex (City Lights Publishing, 2005), City Terrace Field Manual (finalist for a PEN Center West Poetry Prize), and co-editor with Naomi Quinonez and Michelle Clinton of Invocation LA: Urban Multicultural Poetry, which won the American Book Award. He has taught composition and literature in East LA since 1985, and has also taught at the University of Iowa and the University of California, Santa Cruz. [1]
