Vaad Leumi also known as Jewish National Council in Palestine or General Council of the Jewish Community was the main official governing body of the yishuv in the British Mandate of Palestine until the Declaration of the Establishment of the State of Israel.
It represented a wide variety of Jewish political organizations.
