Shahrekord County (Persian: شهرستان شهرکرد) is located in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. The capital of the county is Shahr-e Kord. At the 2006 census, the county's population (including those portions of the county later split off to form Ben County, Kiar County, and Saman County) was 362,381, in 91,273 households.[1] The following census in 2011 counted 340,382 people, in 95,406 households.[2] At the 2016 census, the county's population was 315,980, in 93,104 households.[3]
