Psychopathic Records, also known as "the Hatchet", is an independent record label based in Royal Oak, Michigan, in the United States which was formed in 1991[1] by Alex Abbiss and hip hop group Insane Clown Posse.

In 1999, Joe and Joey Records were created as a subsidiary to release Psychopathic Rydas CDs in order to avoid lawsuits on Psychopathic due to the group's use of stolen beats from popular mainstream artists.

In 2007, Psychopathic Records created a sub-label called "Hatchet House". In past times, new artists would come in on Psychopathic, sell records and start to gain a fan base, then suddenly leave the label. Hatchet House hosts talents from various genres, and basicly acts as a testing label to see how well the artists do with the Juggalos.

At the 2007 Gathering, Violent J stated that Psychopathic and Anybody Killa have almost completely worked through all contractual issues and there is a good chance that he will return to Psychopathic Records. [2] Since then, however, no mentions have been named toward ABK or a possible return.
