One Arranged Murder is the ninth novel and the twelfth book overall written by the Indian author Chetan Bhagat. The novel is the sequel to Bhagat's 2018 novel The Girl in Room 105.[1] A sequel to the book named 400 days was released in 2021
Summary
Saurabh and Keshav are two detectives(part time) who run the Z DETECTIVES. Saurabh is engaged to Prerna Malhotra. His wedding is three months away. Due to this, Keshav's and Saurabh's friendship is also strained. Though it is an arranged marriage, there is more love between them than any love married couple. So Prerna decides to hold 'Karva Chauth' On the night of karva chauth, however, Prerna is murdered after being pushed from her terrace. With Inspector Vijender Singh and aided by ACP Rana, the case is investigated by Saurabh Maheshwari and Keshav Rajpurohit. What happens when the police want the case closed and Keshav falls in love with a person who Saurabh had put a forever taboo?

•Keshav Rajpurohit a.k.a Bhai(only called by Saurabh)- Main protagonist and narrator of the story. He is a Tinder app addict who doesn't believe in love. He wishes to be Saurabh's best friend again. He works at Cyber Safe along with Saurabh.
•Saurabh Maheshwari a.k.a Golu(only called by Keshav)- 2nd Main protagonist. He is an overweight fun loving guy working at Cyber Safe along with Keshav.
•Prerna Malhotra- The victim. She is a successful buisness enteprenaur of Eato, a hand picked Zomato. An overweight girl who loves food like Saurabh.
•ACP Rana- Previously Inspector Rana from the previous book. He is supportive of Keshav and Saurabh since they hepled him in obtaining a promotion from Inspector to ACP.

•Anjali Davis- Prerna's cousin. Geethu's and Jogi's daughter. Greg Davis' step daughter.
