: I'm sorry but I don't see it that way, nor should others misconstrue it as that. My given name is 'Christian' and I don't want to change it. I was also baptized and brought up as a Christian. Clearly, I have no problem with it. I can put an explanation on my talk page about the matter but that's as far as I would go (unless one could kindly point out which Wikipedia guideline/rule I had violated, or had not conformed to). Although to be honest I don't really see the point — most other users won't even take notice of my username until they see the history page or discussion page of an article. Moreover, most of the articles I edit are not, or do not contain, contentious issues for Christians.
