Wikipedia:WikiProject Multi-sport events

• The main goal of this project is to create and maintain articles for every sport at every edition of every notable multi-sport event.

• This WikiProject covers all multi-sport event articles on Wikipedia, except for Olympic and Paralympic articles. These include articles on the Commonwealth Games, the Pan American Games and the Asian Beach Games, just to name a few. As there is already a standalone Olympics WikiProject, articles on the Olympics — including the Paralympics and the Youth Olympics — are not covered by this WikiProject.

• Preliminary general guidelines. Feel free to join in and discuss the preliminary guidelines and suggest ways of improving them.

•   Asian Games task force – a task force, which covers articles related to Asian Games, Asian Winter Games and Asian Para Games.

A new aspect of this project is the existence of more than one coordinator.
