Edgar Macaraya

Edgar "Egay" Macaraya is a retired Filipino professional basketball player who is the head coach of the Quezon City Toda Aksyon of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL).

Macaraya played for San Sebastian Stags and won multiple championships. In his short tenure in Philippine Basketball Association, he played for Pop Cola/Sarsi Sizzlers and Sta. Lucia Realtors.[1]

Coaching career

Macaraya coached the CEU Scorpions before coaching his alma mater San Sebastian.[1][2] He was replaced in 2023.[3]

Macaraya became an assistant coach of UP Fighting Maroons.[4]
