This is a list of episodes in the television series Borgen, a Danish political drama created by Adam Price with co-writers Jeppe Gjervig Gram and Tobias Lindholm and produced by DR, the Danish public broadcaster. Borgen is set in Copenhagen and tells the story of a charismatic politician, Birgitte Nyborg, who unexpectedly becomes the first female prime minister of Denmark. As of 2012, two seasons of ten episodes each have aired in Denmark, and a third and final season is scheduled to be broadcast in the spring of 2013.[1]
The program has also been broadcast in various countries outside Denmark, including the United Kingdom and the United States. In the UK, the first season was aired on BBC Four during the first few weeks of 2012,[2] and the second season is scheduled to be aired starting in January 2013.[3] In the US, Link TV aired the first season in fall of 2011 and the second in summer of 2012.[4]
