Candela Live (Website: www.candelalive.co.uk) is an online, free Latin American and Iberian lifestyle magazine, launched on January 25, 2010 by Argentinian-born journalist and author Amaranta Wright and Venezuelan-born Jose Luis, the UK's biggest Urban Latin DJ.

It is Britain's first online magazine of its kind, providing the country's 700,000-strong Latin American community with a comprehensive guide to what's on in the UK from the best Latin and Spanish clubnights, restaurants and concerts to arts, exhibitions and dance shows. It also features advice and listings on finding a language class or dance class, as well as articles on Latin America, Spain, Portugal and their diasporas in Britain and throughout the globe.

When it was first launched, it was immediately well-received by the community who hailed it as Britain's first one-stop Latino site.

Candela Live's Editor Amaranta Wright was born in Argentina, brought up in London and has covered Latin America as a journalist and published author over the last 15 years. She is the author of Ripped and Torn: Levi's, Latin America and the Blue Jean Dream (Published by Ebury Press in 2006).

Candela Live is the media partner for the annual London Latin music festival La Linea (Which London's Time Out magazine has described as "One of the world's most eclectic celebrations of Latin Music") and Carnaval del Pueblo, Europe's largest outdoor Latin American event, held in London every year.

The journal is free, updated daily and published entirely in English.
