Gene Lebell & inclusion criteria

I assume the idea of this page is to highlight Judoka who are famous for other things/ in other fields. I would therefore question the inclusion of people like Gene LeBell who is, after all, probably more famous for being a Judoka who does stunt work. If he is included, then why not Chuck Norris? Or Brian jacks (winner of BBC TV "Superstars" competition? I like the page, by the way. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.13.39.98 (talk) 18:37, 24 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your comment. The criteria is not however, that the person be "more famous" for something other than judo, but rather that the person be sufficiently notable in some field other than judo, and also be a judoka. I'm glad you like the page - it's nice to be able to sneak a bit of "trivia" into Wikipedia sometimes! --David Broadfoot (talk) 00:46, 25 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
Maybe also consider Bill "Superfoot" Wallace, the kick-boxer, who actually crocked his left leg so badly in a Judo bout that he could only kick with his left leg, hence his trade-mark technique. (83.13.39.98 (talk) 14:05, 15 March 2008 (UTC))Reply
