The Millennium Centre

The Millennium Centre is a post-16 6th form centre, for students who wish to further their education by completing A Levels. It is based at Littleover Community School and Derby Moor Community Sports College.


Entry Requirements

Students are required to achieve 5 A*-C's, including Maths, English and Science. On top of that, students are also required to get a minimum grade 'B' in their chosen subjects.


Dress Code

At the Millenium Centre, staff expect students to look professional and business-like, as they see the Millenium Centre students as role models for the younger children and ambassadors within the community.

Female Students must wear a formal matching suit with a smart top and sensible, smart shoes. Male Students must wear a formal matching suit, a shirt and a tie with smart shoes.


Health And Safety

  • Food and drink is to be consumed in the common rooms, not the study rooms. Students using the kitchen facilities are responsible for their own clearing and washing up.
  • Smoking of tobacco is not allowed anywhere on either site.
  • No alcohol or drugs are to be brought onto either site. No knives, firearms or other dangerous weapons are to be brought onto the sites.
  • Personal Steroes can be used in the common rooms and in the study rooms, provided that their use does not interfere with other people's studying.
  • Mobile phones should only be used in the common rooms. They should be switched off everywhere else.
  • Students are responsible for their own itemms, and the centre accepts no responsibility for the loss of such items.
